Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) is a not-for-profit organization that represents the 1600+ businesses located in the Downtown area. We run programs, events, and marketing initiatives to help make Downtown Halifax a better place to live, work, and play.

DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN is a series of vivid light shows and installations that brighten up Downtown Halifax through the dark winter months. ✨

The program includes the light projection shows at Grafton Park, the glittering 28-foot-tall tree in Peace and Friendship Park, the seasonal light pole displays, and more!

Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) offers a limited number of sponsorships for events and activations taking place in Downtown Halifax as part of DHBC’s Event Sponsorship Program. 

Applications are now open for events taking place in the spring and summer. Deadline to apply is February 27.
