Pups on Patios
Most patios in Downtown Halifax are dog-friendly, but here are a few things to remember before you take your pooch to a patio:
- ASK if your dog is allowed - some patios may not be able to accommodate dogs.
- Dogs are not allowed inside (this does not apply to service dogs).
- Dogs are not allowed to eat but can drink water if bowl is brought by dog-owner.
- Follow the specific rules laid out by the food & drink establishment you are visiting.
