Halifax Burger Bash - April 3-12
Halifax Burger Bash, the city-wide burger-eating phenomenon and a fundraiser for Feed Nova Scotia, is back from April 3-12. ๐
Each year, restaurants across the city create special burger creations, attracting burger lovers from near and far to sample them all.
With nearly one-third of the participating restaurants located Downtown, make Downtown Halifax your ultimate destination for this mouthwatering event.

Return to the Farmers' Markets
Two of the city's most iconic farmers' markets are located in the Downtown core. ๐
And while both are open year round, there's just something out getting out and enjoying the markets as the weather warms up; PLUS, it's a great time to be shopping local!

The Start of Patio Season
The countdown to our favourite season of the year โ patio season โ is officially on! ๐น
Patio season officially beings on April 15th, the day when restaurants and cafes can begin setting up their seasonal outdoor patios or cafes.
And we can't wait! Afterall, thereโs nothing like dining al fresco in the summer months, especially when you can bring your furry friends along for the fun!

Argyle Street Goes Pedestrian
Argyle Street is the heart of Halifaxโs Entertainment District. ๐
This vibrant street is packed with restaurants, pubs, and bars, making it the go-to spot for live music, nightlife, theatre, and al fresco dining.
Starting in April, Argyle Street, between Prince and Blowers Street, will once again close to vehicular traffic but will remain open for pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers, dancers โ you name it!
This seasonal closure, lasting until November, is designed to make the street more accessible and enjoyable for both locals and visitors during the warmer months.

Return of the Harbour Hopper
Nothing says summer like the iconic sight and sounds of the Harbour Hopper cruising through Downtown Halifax. ๐ธ
Halifax's most popular boat tour offers a fun, fast-paced adventure by both land and sea, and itโs back for the season starting May 1!
