(Halifax, N.S.) - The latest addition to Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC)’s DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN at Grafton Park light show series is ‘Spring is Coming.’ The show is currently playing on the former Halifax Memorial Library at Grafton Park, and will be shown every night this month, from sunset to 11 p.m.
The ‘Spring is Coming’ light show is the 12th production to be shown (out of 15) in DHBC’s 2022/23 DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN series at Grafton Park and is designed by Nick Iwasko of Wasko AV, with creative input from DHBC’s placemaking team, with a special musical soundtrack provided by local composer John Mullane of Future Dad.
“The music adds so much to our shows. This one is all about what’s to come. The imagery is meant to instill hope for brighter, and warmer days ahead, so we wanted to assure the music added to that feeling. We’re so lucky to have so many talented artists in Halifax to work with on our shows,” says DHBC’s Placemaking Manager, Jonathan Goldson.

- St. Patrick’s Day, March 13 - 20
- March Break, March 17 – 19
**These light shows will play in rotation with ‘Spring is Coming.’
