Dijon Aioli Recipe
Makes: about 1 cup • Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder (or 1 small clove minced)
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- Optional: 1 tsp olive oil for a silkier texture
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and garlic until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, drizzle in olive oil and whisk until the aioli is slightly glossy and emulsified.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. Keeps for up to 5 days covered in the fridge.
Serving Suggestion: Spoon the aioli into a small dish alongside the warm pinwheels, or spread a thin layer on a charcuterie board for dipping.

In addition to all the holiday fun happening in Downtown Halifax, the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials will be taking place at the Scotiabank Centre and the Halifax Convention Centre from November 22–30. This event is expected to bring thousands of curling fans Downtown daily, in addition to all the visitors enjoying the holiday activities.
