DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN: Holiday Show

DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN, brought to you by Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC), is a series of vivid light shows and installations around Downtown Halifax to brighten up the dark winter months. 

Starting at dusk on Saturday (November 15) is DHBC’s popular holiday-themed light projection show, called ‘Everything is Sparkling’. Produced by DHBC’s placemaking team, with animation by multimedia artist Wasko AV, ‘Everything is Sparkling’ tells the story of “Sparkle,” who takes us on a whimsical journey to Santa’s workshop and features the hit song It Snowed (which is now a children’s book), written and performed by local songstress, Meaghan Smith. 

DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN includes light projection shows on the former Halifax Memorial Library at Grafton Park which runh as various shows from November 7 to January 18.
