DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN New Year’s Light Show

DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN is a series of vivid light shows and installations around Downtown Halifax during the winter months.

Don't miss the New Year’s light projection show on the former Halifax Memorial Library building at Grafton Park (corner of Spring Garden Road and Grafton Street), that will run from December 30 to January 2, from 5 to 11 pm (with the exception of December 31st when the show will run to 1 am).

New Year's Eve 2026 at Grand Parade

COME CELEBRATE 2026 TOGETHER AT GRAND PARADE

The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to its free annual New Year’s Eve celebrations, taking place Wednesday, Dec. 31 in Grand Parade from 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.  Entertainment features Skratch Bastid, Lane Hall and Jupiter Reign. There will be a fireworks show at midnight.
