HJF presents Dominique Fils-Aimé

Halifax Jazz Festival presents Two-time JUNO Award winning singer-songwriter from Montreal, is an artist that puts the history of African-American musical culture into the heart of her work, reflecting on the social realities that influenced the genres of blues, jazz and soul.

After having explored her African-American musical influences in her album trilogy, this new show, ‘Our Roots Run Deep’, invites the audience to delve into the roots of her soul, with the intention of enveloping the listener in a soothing aural embrace.
