Opening February 10th: HOCKEY: Faster than Ever

Can you stop a puck travelling at a hundred miles per hour?  Do you know what makes ice slippery?  Discover the origins and learn about the science of ice hockey at Discovery Centre’s newest exhibition, HOCKEY: Faster than Ever. Join us on opening weekend, February 10th & 11th, with special guests, contests, and competitions! Regular hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00AM – 4:00PM.

Compete for the fastest slap shot or test your air hockey skills in the Hockey Science Lab; get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup; plus tour an outfitted locker room with gear worn by NHL greats. 

OPENING WEEKEND: Saturday, February 10th & Sunday, February 11th:

BOTH DAYS: Wear your team-favourite hockey jersey for a chance to win cool prizes, and check out the brand-new exhibit!

Feb. 10th Lineup – Bobby Mac from Q104 and the Ice Patrol will be in the house as your hosts, with special prizes and giveaways (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Feb. 11th Lineup – Halifax Mooseheads players will be on-site to test your skills (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
