🎁Showcase Your Business in the 2026 Downtown Halifax Holiday Gift Guide!

The Downtown Halifax Holiday Gift Guide is back for another year! 

Following the success of the 2025 edition, which featured 111 businesses — the most ever — from across Downtown Halifax and the Spring Garden area, the 12th annual Gift Guide is set to continue the tradition of helping local businesses connect with holiday shoppers. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it!

Together with the Spring Garden Area Business Association (SGABA), we are once again creating and printing a magazine-style Gift Guide that will be delivered as an unaddressed mail piece to approximate 32,000+ households around the Halifax/Dartmouth area in the middle of November. 

Businesses are invited to purchase a half-page space in the 2026 Gift Guide for $55.00 + tax. This nominal opt-in fee will help cover printing and distribution costs.

Each half-page ad will be created for the participating business using a standardized design template, allowing them to showcase up to two (2) products, services, or experiences, with:

• Up to 2 photos of the featured products, services, or experiences
• A short description and price (for products), or a brief description of the service(s) or experience(s)
• Contact details, including address, website, phone number, and/or social media handles

In addition to the printed version, the Gift Guide will also be available online at downtownhalifax.ca. Participating businesses will receive copies of the Gift Guide, promotion on DHBC and SGABA social media platforms, and a Holiday Gift Guide window decal to display at their location.

The final deadline to book your spot is Thursday, October 1. Please note that participation is first come, first served, as space in the Gift Guide is limited.

The final deadline to submit all materials, including photos, write-up, prices, and contact information, is Thursday, October 15, 2026.
