About the Event
The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is hosting the 9th season of their outdoor summer concerts!
Experience a night at the museum and take in the live sounds of outdoor music on the Halifax Waterfront. From July 11 to August 22, these free performances include a variety of musical genres, from African drumming, Acadian and Celtic music to sea shanties, classical and jazz.
In potential inclement weather, shows will be held in our beautiful Small Craft Gallery.

On Tuesdays, the museum is free from 5 pm until 8 pm, all year round! Take in beautiful harbour views on our amazing observation deck, visit Merlin Macaw, our friendly, colourful Rainbow Macaw, and explore Nova Scotia’s maritime history, including our continuing exhibit, Ta'n me'j Tel-keknuo'ltiek: How Unique We Still Are.
