During the Halifax Mural Festival, 21 new murals were painted in Downtown Halifax!

DHBC is proud to be one of the sponsors of this year's Mural Festival, and we're so delighted to see the colour and vibrance the new murals have brought to Downtown.

Mi'kmaw artist Jordan Bennett painted a commemorative piece for the upcoming North American Indigenous Games 2023. 

Peatr Thomas, of Ininew and Anishinaabe descent, also created a mural at Pavillion 22.  

"The Hub" is located on 1580 Grafton Street, between Pizza Girls and Maxwell's Plum.

In fact, some of the murals are located inside Maxwell's Plum Beer Garden so you can enjoy your bevs and bites while admiring the art!

The Halifax Waterfront Murals are located near the Salt Yard, Foundation Wharf, and the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
