Meet Ashley Marlin, Special Projects and Events Coordinator at Craft Nova Scotia
Ashley has always had a passion for environmental sustainability and supporting our local growers and makers. After studying environmental studies and biology at Saint Mary’s University, she went on to manage three Farmer’s Markets along Nova Scotia’s South Shore for 14 years before making a recent job change to Craft Nova Scotia.
Craft Nova Scotia works to encourage and promote fine craftsmanship. They have over 300 members, made up of a variety of artisans. From wood and leather work to culinary art and distilleries, creatives from across the province benefit from and collaborate through Craft Nova Scotia programs, events, advocacy, and mentorship. This includes their popular annual Designer Craft Show which is back for the first time in two years at Pavilion 22 on November 18– 20; just in time for the holiday season!
