What is Giving Tuesday?
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: A day that encourages people to do good and counteract Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Now, 13 years later, it has turned into a global movement that inspires millions of people to donate, volunteer, and spread awareness.
In Downtown Halifax, we have so many organizations doing good work each and everyday. For this Giving Tuesday, we wanted to highlight just a few of these groups.
