HotSpot works with the on-street parking pay stations in Downtown Halifax. 

(You will need your license plate number, Zone letter (A, B etc.), or meter number in order to commence a parking session using HotSpot.) 

You can use the machines scattered throughout Downtown, or download the HotSpot Parking App. 

The HotSpot Parking App does give drivers more convenience when parking by:

• Notifying users when their meter is close to expiring.
• Giving users the option to add more time up to the maximum for the space.
• Giving users the option to cancel their session early and be refunded for any unused time.
