About the Event

January’s theme: Why so wet? The water cycles!

Living in a city along the Big Harbour, we are all connected by water! Learn how water was recycled from centuries ago, and how we can take steps to save and protect our fresh water today! In January, we’re discovering the water cycle. You’ll learn how winter can be rain, snow and somewhere in between! Learn about the cycle of water in the outdoors with a demonstration on how water evaporates and re-emerges as liquid!

Welcome Wednesdays is a special treat for preschool aged children, young and newcomer families, and daycares!

Unlock your creativity and enjoy our puppet theatre, various toys, crafts and colouring sheets. We also have books for young readers, offered in English and other languages.

For groups and more details, contact the museum at 902-424-7491.

Children five years and younger are always free admission, and daycares are welcome!
