What lies beyond Nova Scotia's best-known attractions? Join author Stacy Ann Milford for an illustrated journey to some of the province's most unusual and remarkable places. Inspired by Stacy’s book Beyond Peggy's Cove: 51 Unusual and Remarkable Sites in Nova Scotia, this presentation combines stunning images with stories of exploration, discovery, local history, and the adventures of uncovering hidden gems across the province. A question-and-answer session and book signing to follow (books are available for purchase in our Marine Heritage Store).

Stacy Ann Milford is a Nova Scotia-based writer whose work reflects the magic and mystery of the Atlantic landscapes around her. A passionate explorer, she has travelled, worked, and lived all over the world, discovering along the way that some of the best adventures can be found right in her own backyard. She delights in uncovering Nova Scotia's lesser-known places and sharing the fascinating stories behind them. Stacy is the author of Beyond Peggy's Cove: 51 Unusual and Remarkable Sites in Nova Scotia, and her short fiction has appeared in Flash Fiction Magazine and the anthology Strangers in the Fog.
