Join us for "Sculpting Expressions: A Pride Clay Workshop"

No prior experience with clay is necessary

🌈Workshop Details
Participants will be invited to reflect on the question, "What does pride mean to you?" and express their answers through clay. Whether you choose to sculpt figures, shape symbols, or create abstract forms, the choice is yours.

Shreya and the team will guide you through the process and provide support. You are welcome to take your artwork home.

🌈Event Timing: July 19th - 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Batch 1: 3pm to 4:20pm | Batch 2: 4:30pm to 5:50pm (join whichever batch suits you better)

🌈Registration: Limited spots are available, so pre-registration is recommended to ensure you get a spot

🌈Who is the event for: This workshop is open to anyone who identifies on the 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum or is an ally. An ally is someone who actively and consistently supports, stands with, and advocates for the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Allyship is a process of continual learning and reflection.

🌈Event Age: All age groups are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

🌈Location: The Lower Courtyard, Halifax Brewery Market. The venue is accessible and has gender-neutral washrooms available on-site.

✨The primary language of delivering the workshop is English. However, between Shreya and the volunteers, support is available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Farsi, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Turkish.

Artists from the Rainbow Refugee Pottery Program and Beyond The Frame Media Ltd. will be among the volunteers on site proving support for the event.
