About the Event

Each year the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame induct some of Nova Scotia’s most influential and successful leaders, change makers and entrepreneurs. These individuals showcase the province’s strength, tenacity, resiliency and courage as they helped shape our city, our province and beyond. The evening is in honouring of these individuals who, through their lifetime achievements, have inspired our current and future business leaders. 2026 Incoming Class: James (Jim) Kehoe, Thomas (Tim) Moore, William (Bill) Hay.

Launched in 2025, the Legacy in the Making Award recognises entrepreneurs with leadership, determination and perseverance, who have been operating their business for less than 15 years. These individuals are shaping our province, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit, highlighting their community focus (volunteerism, philanthropy, service above self), and contributing to the local economy. change in search of the greater good. 2026 Recipients: Jaime Landry, Dr. Mina Mekhail, Ross Simmonds.
