About the Event

Our second annual Maritime Heritage Festival is happening the weekend of September 12 to 13, 2026!

We’re excited to host this free, family-friendly event outside of our museum on the waterfront in the Maritime Heritage District!

Special festival event sponsors, Downtown Halifax Business Commission, with major festival partners Build Nova Scotia, Canadian Naval Memorial Trust!

More participating community organizations, performers and activity schedule will be announced on the museum's website and social media!
