About the Event

Hal-Con combines the traditional science fiction & fantasy convention with the modern comic-con trade show style event. We are unique in what we provide to the public for programming in the Maritimes. Nearly 500 single events are scheduled during the convention, creating hundreds of hours of programming.

We have outgrown the Halifax Convention Center; now holding external festivities at The Old Triangle, Citadel Hill, The Discovery Centre, and more.

Saturday: 9:30AM – 12:00AM
Sunday: 9:30AM – 7:00PM
