Halifax Book Launch and Art Exhibit : Ebbs and Flows of the Heart by Chedia El Khouri
HALIFAX, NS — May 25, 2026 — Poet Chedia El Khouri will launch her new collection, Ebbs and Flows of the Heart, at The Prow Gallery in Halifax on Thursday, June 12, 2026 (7–9 pm). Admission is free. The evening includes a live reading, music, a moderated conversation, and a mixed-media photography exhibit connected to the book.
El Khouri grew up in Nova Scotia and describes the Halifax launch as a homecoming—an opportunity to share the work with the community that shaped her.
The collection moves through love, longing, resilience, and renewal, with poems that are direct, lyrical, and emotionally grounded.
