You will receive an e-mail to confirm whether your event has been approved.

For your event to be included on our online Events calendar, it must:

• Be an in-person event, open to the public (ticketed or otherwise) and
• Take place within the Downtown Halifax area (See our district map below. DHBC boundaries in dark green)

Please note that some events may satisfy the criteria outlined above but could still be rejected. Events that could be rejected include, but are not limited to:

• Conferences and/or conventions
• Religious and/or faith services
• Political/advocacy gatherings (including rallies, strikes, protests, etc.)

DHBC reserves the right to accept or reject event submissions. Please check your junk/spam mail if you do not receive a confirmation email.
