Loose Parts Play-a-Palooza celebrating International Day of Play

This is a fun family event most suitable for children 4 and older. The event is FREE of charge and everyone is welcome!

Loose parts are materials that can be moved around, combined and put together creating spontaneous, temporary play spaces 'designed' by children themselves. Loose parts promote cooperative play and encourage independent discovery in a fun atmosphere. Children decide how and what to play without instructions. Some typical loose parts include cardboard boxes, milk crates, car and bike tires, rope, cardboard tubes, fabrics, etc.

Please remember to be prepared for the weather - hats, sunscreen, water!
