Halifax Lights Holiday Market at Historic Properties, 1869 Upper Water Street, a multi-weekend holiday market features: artisans, festive food and drink, holiday lights and décor, live performers, family entertainment, musicians, dance parties, and much more. Hours for the crafters market for December 16-18 are: Friday – 4:00-9:00 pm, Saturday – 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm, Sunday – 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.

Saturday, Dec. 17, afternoon – Ice Sculpting (outside in the courtyard)
Saturday, Dec. 17, 2:00-4:00 pm – Concert featuring The Ukeladies (inside Privateers' Wharf)
Saturday, Dec. 17, 6:00-8:00 pm – Silent Party with the Christmas Bear (inside Privateers' Wharf and outside in the courtyard)
Sunday, Dec. 18, 12:30-3:30 pm – Discovery Centre demonstrations (inside Privateers' Wharf)
Sunday, Dec. 18, 1:00-3:00 pm – A visit from Santa & Rudolph (inside Privateers' Wharf)
The Halifax Lights Pop-Up at Neptune Theatre Scotiabank Stage, in partnership with Eastern Front Theatre will also be taking place this weekend with the following vendors: Argyle Fine Art, various artists from Art 1274 Hollis, and a sale of ornaments to benefit Navigator Street Outreach. Eastern Front Theatre will be offering a discount on tickets to their production of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Hours for the pop-up are: December 16 – 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and December 17 & 18 – 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm.
The Halifax Lights Pop-Up Market at 1566 Barrington Street, presented by Starfish Properties, will finish up their pop-up holiday retail shop this weekend with: Bridget Turner Jewelry, Discovery Centre, The Lost Cod Clothing Co., Rum Runners Rum Cake, Sugah! Confectionery, and Tap. Business hours this week are: Monday to Saturday – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays – 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.
Free Downtown Holiday Parking:
Market vendors will be offering free parking passes with purchase to the Scotia Square, while supplies last. Waterfront Development will also be offering free parking on Saturdays from November 25 until December 31 at the Lower Water Street lots to support Saturday Holiday Market days.
