Tunes at Noon 2016

DHBC, Music Nova Scotia, and daVinci College, is pleased to present Tunes at Noon, an annual summer concert series featuring Nova Scotian performers from a variety of musical genres. Tunes at Noon will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from July 13 to September 2, 12:00 Noon-1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax. “What better way to enjoy the sunshine in the heart of Downtown than with a free concert?” said Paul MacKinnon, DHBC Executive Director. “Tunes at Noon has become an important part of Downtown summertime entertainment. The concert series is a great way showcase Nova Scotian talent – emerging and established – and to create a welcoming atmosphere for both visitors and locals alike.”

DHBC is also partnering with St. Matthew’s United Church’s SummerSounds@Barrington every Tuesday until August 30, from 12:15-1:00 pm. Admission is by freewill offering, suggested donation $5.

Other free music offerings in Downtown Halifax include Maritime Museum of the Atlantic’s free Tuesday Night Tunes series from June 7 to August 30, 7:00-8:00 pm, in the Museum Courtyard (Small Craft Gallery if weather is inclement).
