Focus Group Participants Needed
Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) is embarking on a new strategic plan for 2019-2022. The board of directors has engaged Chris Hornberger, Partner in Halifax Global Inc., to work with DHBC on this project, and to get input from you, as DHBC members. Over the next three years, DHBC will focus on strategic and practical ways to improve Downtown for its 1,600 members. Chris will be hosting a series of focus groups, with various sectors of the membership to explore ways of doing this. DHBC is seeking volunteers to participate in a 90-minute session within their sector. The following focus groups will be taking place:
- Retailers – October 22, 10:00 am-12:00 noon (location TBD)
- Restaurants and hotels – October 22, 2:00-4:00 pm (location TBD)
- Landlords and developers – October 24, 10:00 am-12:00 noon (location TBD)
- Commercial offices and tenants – October 24, 2:00-4:00 pm (location TBD)
Spaces are limited. Contact: Paul MacKinnon, DHBC Executive Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
