Celebrate East Coast Music with 2018 ECMA Argyle Street Fest

As a proud supporter of the 2018 ECMAs, Downtown Halifax Business Commission is pleased to present the 2018 ECMAs Argyle Street Fest this Saturday, May 5, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm, on two blocks of Argyle Street, from Blowers Street to Prince Street. The ECMA Argyle Street Fest is an afternoon of outdoor family fun, live music, on-street performances, artist Meet & Greets, and more to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ECMAs in Halifax. All Street Fest activities and musical performances are free and open to the public.

The celebration will include a family area on the Argyle Street south block (Blowers to Sackville), featuring a bouncy castle, games, face-painting, popcorn, and a children’s music zone. The Argyle Street north block (Sackville to Prince) will have live performances on the ECMA Argyle Street Stage presented by RBC and the RBC Meet & Greet bus for featured artists to sign autographs and meet fans.

Picnic tables will be set up so that families can sit and enjoy the live music and activities, and businesses along the street will have their patios set-up so visitors can enjoy a meal and/or a drink while listening to the music.
