11th Annual Tunes at Noon Announces 2018 Line-Up

Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC), daVinci College, Music Nova Scotia, and The Coast are pleased to present the 11th Annual Tunes at Noon, an annual summer concert series featuring Nova Scotian performers from a variety of musical genres. The series will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from July 4 to August 22, 12:00 Noon-1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax. “Tunes at Noon is a great way to enjoy the summer weather in Downtown Halifax,” said Paul MacKinnon, DHBC Executive Director. “It’s become a staple of Downtown summertime entertainment and a great way showcase Nova Scotian talent – emerging and established. There’s nothing like a free, outdoor concert to create a welcoming atmosphere for both visitors and locals.”

DHBC is also partnering with St. Matthew’s United Church’s SummerSounds@Barrington every Tuesday, July 3 to August 28, from 12:15-1:00 pm. Admission is by freewill offering, suggested donation $5.

Other free music in Downtown Halifax include Tuesday Night Tunes music series, presented by Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and Waterfront Development, from June 5 to August 28, 7:00-8:00 pm, in the Museum Courtyard (Small Craft Gallery if weather is inclement).
