Due to the forecast of thundershowers, Downtown Halifax Picnic on the Hill, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until Tuesday, August 20, 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm, at Citadel Hill beside The Old Town Clock on Brunswick Street.

Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) is pleased announce the grant recipients for the Gritty to Pretty beautification grant program. Gritty to Pretty includes three grant streams: Open Grant, Façade Lighting Grant, and the recently added, Mural Grant.

Downtown Halifax Business Commission Census Taker

Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) was formed in 1987 through the voting of the businesses and landlords in the Downtown area (generally the area between Citadel Hill and the Waterfront). There are approximately 1,300 member businesses of DHBC.
