DHBC, daVinci College, Music Nova Scotia, and The Coast, are pleased to present the 10th Anniversary Tunes at Noon, an annual summer concert series featuring Nova Scotian performers from a variety of musical genres. The series will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from July 5 to September 1, 12:00 Noon-1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax.
Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) is pleased to announce the 2017-2018 Board of Directors. The new Board of Directors was voted in by DHBC members during its Annual General Meeting on June 22 in a packed room at The Discovery Centre.
A record amount of garbage was collected by volunteers yesterday in Downtown Halifax. There were 35 teams with a total of 158 volunteers that collected 53 bags of garbage, 37 bags of recycling, and 16 bags of compost and many “interesting” objects throughout Downtown Halifax while participating in the 23rd Annual Clean Sweep, presented by Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC).
