Tunes at Noon is back for its 12th year! Tunes at Noon is a FREE summer concert series on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm in Grand Parade.
Celtic Rant is a Nova Scotian trio that delightfully delivers traditional tunes, brings folk lyrics to life, and gives a nuanced sense of home in original songs. They are funny and self-aware, creating lovely onstage camaraderie. With storytelling stringing the show together, Celtic Rant demonstrates exquisite talent on various instruments and stunning harmonies.
As music educators, they weave a strong sense of history and significance into their music and are willing and able to provide workshops as a secondary part of their bookings. Celtic Rant consists of Victor Fraser on vocals, guitar, tenor banjo and fiddle, Rob Wigle on vocals, guitar, mandolin and bouzouki, and Rob Greene, who also does vocals and plays bass guitar, fiddle and pipes.
