The Carleton

The Carleton is housed in a building in Halifax, NS that was built in 1760 and was the home of Richard Bulkeley. As one of Atlantic Canada’s premier live music venues for the past 10 years, The Carleton has earned numerous awards and accolades for its live entertainment experience, including four East Coast Music Awards and eight Music Nova Scotia Awards for Venue of the Year, and the 2017 Canada Live Music Award for Best Small Venue. With the hiring of Chef Michael Dolente in May 2017, The Carleton has quickly been achieving praise and recognition as a hot culinary destination specializing in elevated comfort food and just earned a 2018 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
