Looking for dog-friendly places in Downtown Halifax? Well, look no further! Below is a list of businesses where Fido and Rover are welcome.

Note that dogs are not allowed in restaurants or on patios where food and/or drinks are served.
The Halifax Citadel National Historic Site welcomes dogs on leashes on their grounds, but they are not allowed in the buildings. Open daily from the beginning of May to the end of October.
Dogs (and cats!) are welcome at The Prince George Hotel. For a one-time, add-on rate of $25 per stay, dogs received a welcome package that includes a fleece blanket, waste bags, a bowl for food and/or water, and an information package.
The Westin welcomes all guests, including four-legged friends.
There is a $25 cleaning fee for pets staying 7 days or less, and every furry companion receives a welcome treat and toy.
The Delta Barrington allows pets of any size for an extra fee of $35 per pet, per stay.
Pets are allowed at the Marriott Harbourfront for a $60 fee.
Biscuit General Store, a locally owned, boutique department store on Argyle Street, welcomes dogs on leashes into their store.
Venus Envy allows dogs on leashes into their Barrington Street store. They also have treats for your furry friends!
Maritime Hobbies & Crafts Ltd. allows dogs on leashes in their storefront.
Strange Adventures allows dogs on leashes in their storefront.
Fireworks Gallery allows dogs on leashes in their storefront.
Argyle Fine Art allows dogs on leashes in their storefront.
Patagonia is dog friendly and even has a water dish and treats for your canine companion!
