March Break is just around the corner (March 18 - 22, 2019), and if you haven't already, it is time to start thinking about March Break camps! Thankfully, there are a lot of March Break camp options in Downtown Halifax. Here are some ideas:
The Discovery Centre offers fun March Break camps that explore a variety of science themes to inspire curious, young minds. This year, your kids can enjoy the Weather Wizardy or Digital Discovery camps.
Art Gallery of Nova Scotia
The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia offers March Break art classes. Sign your child up for a week-long art class, spend an afternoon sketching in the Gallery, join a guided Gallery tour, or participate in the special March Break Family Sunday.
The AGNS offers both half-day and full-day March Break camp opportunities.
Halifax Dance offers camps for kids ages 5-12 years old. Classes will be selected from Hip Hop, Jazz, Breakdance, Ballet, Modern, Creative, Physical Theatre and Musical Theatre.
Neptune Theatre School's March Break camps are now open for registration. These fun, creative, theatre-based camps run Monday to Friday with cources in drama and musical theatre.
Maritime Museum of the Atlantic
Maritime Museum pf the Atlantic is hosting a travelling display called Canada at Play: 100 years of Games, Toys and Play. This is a travelling exhibit from the Royal Ontario Museum. The exhibit celebrates historical games, toys and sports equipment from our past. Celebrating this tradition of play will be at the heart of our March Break program.
The Halifax Hurricanes
The Halifax Hurricanes will be in the Downtown Halifax Buisness Commission's storefront located at 1546 Barrington Street on Tuesday, March 19, from 1:00-3:00 pm. This is a free event open to all who would like to attend.
