Nova Scotia Power Lower Water Street Office Project Update

The new look of the new offices has begun to take shape with the installation of a glass curtain wall along the northern end of the building, facing Bishop’s Landing. After completing the north wall, workers will move to the harbour side, installing glass from the centre area of the wall and progressing north towards Bishop’s Landing. They will then do the same on the Lower Water Streetside of the building. Installation of the glass should be finished in late summer or early fall. In the weeks ahead, the final concrete cuts for the curtain wall will be done. This will conclude the demolition work being performed by Murray Demolition. Inside the building, mechanical work continues, with the installation of ducts, heating and cooling systems and sprinklers. For more information, visit www.nspower.ca/community/lowerwaterstreet.
